After releasing his first album, “Kaos Theory” in April, AOK made a conscious choice to step back, refine his sound, and return with something sharper, louder, and more authentic. Months of work included sound design, testing different genres, tweaking DJ arrangements, and reevaluating what truly defines his artistic identity. He plans to drop a series of tracks monthly, leading up to the WMC/Ultra Music Festival season.
AOK summed up his progress well:

Born as Joel Hills, Agent Of Kaos grew from a DJ with over 14 years of experience into a producer who draws on his background in drum and bass, dubstep, hardstyle, house, and psytrance. His journey started in St. Pete, Florida. It later evolved into a full identity in Denver and expanded with the creation of Church Of Us Records, a label aimed at helping new artists stand out in a crowded digital scene.
“Only Legends Full Send” is a tribute track that honors the ravers, friends, and unforgettable personalities who shaped his experiences in the community. Names like Roly, Jo, and Des receive special mentions, reflecting the song’s spirit: energetic, communal, and meant to be shared. He recorded the vocals in Denver with Exxcite, while AOK took care of the mixing, mastering, and full production in his home studio.

Before taking on the AOK persona, Joel performed along the East Coast under a different name, holding four residencies in the mid-Atlantic for over a decade. Those years spent mixing every electronic genre are what give his current production its edge, with instincts for fusion, unexpected drops, and musical risk-taking.
His upcoming catalog will continue along this path, featuring collaborations with rock musicians, genre-blurring artists, rappers, and metal vocalists. He’s also working on another album for 2025, this time aiming for a tighter sonic identity shaped by everything he’s learned since “Kaos Theory.” Central to it all is a simple belief: “Only Legends Full Send, don’t you wanna become a legend?”
