STRlighT’s second studio album, Ever Lasting (永·恒), transforms memories, regret, desire, and hope into a 13-song electronic journey. From Dongguan, China, the producer, DJ, and artist approaches melody as a form of emotional memory, reflecting how experiences can change without disappearing. The album looks backward and forward simultaneously, asking what remains after pain has softened and what deserves to be carried forward.
Ever Lasting grew from two years of creative work. STRlighT describes the project as a record of youthful memories, a story of redeemed sentiments, and a collection of obsessions and anticipations. That description captures its central tension: the past can leave scars, yet those same memories can preserve beauty. The album recognizes that healing does not necessarily erase what happened. Sometimes it simply changes the way we understand it.
The production combines electronic foundations with piano, strings, organs, guitars, atmospheric design, and melodies. These elements allow STRlighT to move beyond a strictly club-oriented framework, giving the songs a warmer and more human character. Electronic textures provide structure and movement, while organic instrumentation adds intimacy, supporting contemplation and emotional release.
That balance reflects STRlighT’s artistic identity within Chinese melodic EDM. His work places strong emphasis on melody, atmosphere, arrangement, and emotional sincerity. Following his debut studio album RE:WRITE, which explored tragic love, Ever Lasting represents another stage in his continuing interest in music as a space for emotional recovery. His releases through labels including ARWV, Ufality, King Step, and Seal Network have helped establish that direction while connecting with a broader electronic audience.
STRlighT has also explored another side of dance music through his SU!C!DE M3730R project, focusing on club, dancefloor, and psychedelic qualities. That experimentation contrasts with his main project’s melodic storytelling and inward reflection. It shows an artist exploring rhythm while keeping emotional expression central.
His music leaves space for listeners to recognize their own memories, wounds, hopes, and unfinished questions within themselves. Ever Lasting is about the memories that refuse to vanish and the hope that makes remembering worthwhile. STRlighT does not present the past as something that must be rejected. He treats it as part of the person we become, allowing youthful dreams, regret, affection, and anticipation to coexist. The result is an album that invites listeners to look inward, appreciate what shaped them, and carry its most meaningful fragments gently into whatever comes next.
