Radio Drive’s ‘Walk With Me’ arrives as a considered statement from Minneapolis–St. Paul alternative pop-rock artist Kevin Gullickson. Released through 12 Story Records, the nine-song album follows a two-year pause during which Gullickson stepped back to focus on family and other priorities. That interval gives the project context: these songs come from an artist returning with a clearer sense of what matters, not simply filling the space between releases.
Gullickson describes the album as a deeper reflection of his musical and personal journey. Its title offers an invitation to listeners: accompany him through the experiences that shaped him, the person he is now, and the possibilities ahead. Personal growth is rarely a straight line, and music can make room for uncertainty, reflection, and renewed purpose without pretending every question has an easy answer.
The record brings together influences accumulated over years of writing and recording, shaping them into a nine-track alternative pop-rock collection. Rather than treating experience as a finished story, the album frames it as something still unfolding. Its human perspective is central to the project’s appeal: an invitation to listen openly and consider how family, priorities, setbacks, and change influence the way a person sees the world. Its invitation feels relevant in a culture that often rewards speed over reflection and listening.
For the album’s mix and mastering, Gullickson worked with Grammy-nominated producer and engineer Marc DeSisto, whose credits include U2, Pink Floyd, The Who, and Stevie Nicks. Across his career, he has also worked with professionals including Gene Paul, Chris Garcia, Stuart Epps, Robert L. Smith, Brendan Dekora, and Steve “Mr Mig” Migliore, whose credits span major artists and landmark recordings. These collaborations form part of a wider creative history, but ‘Walk With Me’ remains the latest chapter in Radio Drive’s story.
The album is Gullickson’s eighteenth release under the Radio Drive name. His work has earned international awards and nominations, worldwide radio play, indie-chart success, and coverage from music websites, podcasts, and radio programs. Two songs from the album, “Together” and “Love Beyond the Storm,” were submitted for consideration for the 2027 Grammy Awards in multiple categories; submission does not guarantee nomination.
With ‘Walk With Me,’ Radio Drive offers listeners more than a return after time away. It opens a thoughtful conversation about identity, connection, and the courage to keep moving forward one song, one experience, and one shared step at a time.
