Stockholm producer and DJ FREDRYD turns the arrival of summer into an invitation for connection with “Natural Things,” his fourth single released through LFTD GLOBAL/LVLD MUSIC. Rooted in EDM and Deep House, the track captures an idea: being close to people who matter, leaving doubt behind, and allowing moments to feel natural.
“Natural Things” emerged from FREDRYD’s desire to create a summer record centered on friendship, affection, and togetherness. Lines such as “Don’t question my motives. You know I love you so” and “Take my hand, lead me to the place we’ll be” frame the song around reassurance and trust. Its emotional appeal comes from that openness, giving the production a welcoming quality suited to drives, gatherings, sunsets, and late evenings.
Pascal Letoublon’s “Friendships” provided a stylistic reference, while FREDRYD’s influences include Avicii, Zara Larsson, Ed Sheeran, Juliander, Phil Collins, and electronic artists. These influences help explain his interest in melody, emotional accessibility, electronic atmosphere, and songs capable of creating social connection.
The production process was not effortless. FREDRYD describes making “Natural Things” as challenging but worthwhile, especially while trying to shape an EDM track that could introduce the summer with energy and feeling. Personal experience became part of that process, reinforcing a lesson in his creative journey: keep working, trust your instincts, and allow progress to come through persistence.
FREDRYD’s path into electronic music began after an unsuccessful attempt to establish himself as a singing artist. In 2023, he started creating music through BandLab, opening a chapter that led to his debut album, “Love Is What We Need,” in May 2024. His second album, “The Way To The Good Life,” followed in June 2025, strengthening his identity within electronic music.
His LFTD GLOBAL/LVLD MUSIC singles, including “Can We Stop Be Estranged To Each Other?”, “I See You Shining,” and “Let The Girl Have Her Fun,” reveal interests in social connection, reconnection, enjoyment, and empowerment. His background as a former dancer adds another dimension to music designed around movement.
“Natural Things” ultimately reflects FREDRYD’s optimistic worldview. He sees music as a way to bring people closer, encourage understanding, and create social energy. His ambition to become a DJ remains part of the journey, but producing itself already represents a meaningful achievement. With this release, FREDRYD offers an electronic soundtrack for friendship, freedom, and enjoying the moment.
