NBP Human Reconfigures a Powerful and Personal Love Confession with the New Single “You Know Me”

Hailing from Budapest, Hungary, NBP Human presents what is arguably the artist's most heartfelt and emotionally revealing song release, the powerful single “You Know Me.” The song encapsulates a confession of love fulfilled and vulnerability expressed, combining poetic lyricism set in a visual world that the artist created entirely by hand. The official music video enhances the experience with a warm color palette, symbolic visual imagery and heartwarming storytelling.

Led by songwriter and visual artist Balazs Janky, NBP Human's whole artistic identity has walked a lane, somewhat disconnected, where the intersection of rock roots, emotive storytelling, and visual art shares space. But with “You Know Me,” a different standard has been established. A simple melody with a few lines of lyrics, transformed over the years, became a beautiful declaration of love influenced, among others, by Led Zeppelin, Leonard Cohen, Bruce Springsteen, Pearl Jam, Dire Straits and U2. These influences are not evident in copied lyrics, but in pacing, tone, and the raw honesty of the lyrics, and the way messages speak directly to the soul.

The song revolves around a beautifully human concept: that actual love isn’t performance, fantasy, or perfection; it is truth, vulnerability, and recognition. NBP Human plays with warm six-string tones, delicate dynamics, and an unfiltered vocal style as if he is revealing a column a letters from the heart. That detail seems to be at the core of the song's important power. Most of the vocal emotion came from the first demo done on an iPhone headset precisely because nothing re-created in a studio could replicate what came out in that first take in that moment. It was then mastered and mixed to sound professional by sound engineer Zsolt Gyulai, preserving the original magic while achieving a polished sonic sound.

“You Know Me” bears the same approach of handcrafted intimacy. Directed, edited, and color-corrected by NBP Human, and filmed by cinematographer Lóránt Hollay, the production is the love story of glances, memories, and atmosphere. Finally, the well-designed graphic design came from Balazs’s son, Milán Janky, adding another layer of polish to what was already a fine collaborative effort of the family.

“You Know Me” is not a song meant for the moment; it is meant to last forever. Its themes are eternal, its tone is authentic, and its message is universal: in a world full of chaos, love and truth are still worth sacrificing for. As NBP Human gets ready to take this project to the stage in 2026, the single is a defining point in his creative evolution as an artist and his fundamental message: remain human, dare to love, and never be afraid to come from your heart.
