Elisa V Promotes Contemporary Deep House with the Emotion-Fueled Single, "How You Feel"

From the cultural center of Helsinki, Finland, genre-defying violinist and emerging solo artist Elisa V returns with her emotive new work "How You Feel". This new release represents the continuation of Elisa V's mission to change the violin from a classically based instrument with historical values to a modern, global voice that can both pulse on dancefloors and sing in a concert hall, by creating blended tracks that are symphonic and evocative. The result, "How You Feel," is beautiful and evocative, balanced with a certain deep house feel. It feels cinematic, melancholy, and distinctly human.

Elisa V. was born into a family of musicians and steeped in tradition. She is a graduate of the world-renowned Sibelius Academy, one of the leading institutions of Europe, and went on to develop a career as an international world-class violinist. Her résumé sounds almost like a dream: playing at world festivals, lavish venues, and rare stages that far too many go to work hard and never are, even having special invitations to play for royal families, world leaders, and the Pope at the Vatican. All of this with a strong foundation in classical music, Elisa naturally felt a spark to something more personal, that exceeds genres and traditions.

That spark really began to take shape with her debut single “Love of Yesterday,” which was released in September. The song was received amicably and introduced Elisa V as not just a breathtaking performer, but as a creator and artist who can generate her own sonic identity. In "How You Feel," Elisa V takes a significant step forward. Where her first song was more warm and romantic, nostalgic, the next song dives deeper into emotions, addressing longing, vulnerability, and reflective melancholy.

“How You Feel” brilliantly showcases Elisa’s artistic vision. With the violi in her voice, she pivots and shifts from the personal to the emotional narrator, as her identity moves through rich clouds of electronic textures and deep-house grooves. The result is a sound that is elegant yet supple, contemporary yet intimate, and gives her audience an experience that exists between genres rather than simply within one.

Elisa admits that combining genres was intentional but not easy. Modern grooves lent themselves nicely to emotion, but finding the technical finesse to put the two together required a lot of imagination. The pay-off was clear; however, she created a language of the two. As she puts it, fusing classical and modern sounds allows an artist to “express and feel music on a whole other level.” “How You Feel” represents this belief fully. What makes Elisa V interesting isn’t skill, it’s purpose. She is forging a pathway between the tradition of violin playing and the current sound, demonstrating that the violin can be trendy, emotional, cool, and culturally relevant in 2025 and beyond.

Her artistry harnesses an emerging global phenomenon to take classical instruments and re-contextualize them for the contemporary audience, and she is well-positioned to become one of the prominent voices of this phenomenon. With only two singles out, Elisa V is already beginning to carve a lane, one that is rooted in elegance, emotion, and evolution. “How You Feel” is not just a release, it is a statement, a compass point, and an invitation to cross into a world where classical elegance meets contemporary pulse.
