Omar Brings Good Vibes and Energy with “I Got You”

Los Angeles artist Omar has released a new single “I Got You”, a new and flirty pop track with a modern R’n’B aesthetic. Co-written by longtime collaborator Felly the Voice and engineered by Jesse Jazz at Circle House Studios in Miami, Omar presents his artistic growth, as well as indications of personal growth in this release.

Omar claims the inspiration for the track came from Justin Bieber’s “Yummy”. Omar easily interlaces playful grooves and bright textured synths to create an upbeat seductive groove with this track. “I Got You” is a head-bobbing feel-good song that oozes confidence and authenticity.

The catchy hook “you know, you know, you know, you know, you know… I got you” will stick with listeners well after the first listen, and Omar’s smooth delivery lands perfectly between commercial radio and bedroom intimacy.

What sets "I Got You" apart is Omar's unapologetic approach to experimentation. The dynamic bass lines and unexpected rhythmic/bass touches with Felly's melodic writing take the track to a level above the typical pop-R&B hybrid. It is a confident leap forward for Omar as an artist and I highly recommend "I Got You" to anyone who enjoys infectious pop...particularly pop that contains raw emotion.
